Nigeria’s agriculture sector is the most vibrant non-oil sector contributing significantly to the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and economy. However, Nigeria still remains largely food insecure as shown in the 2019 Global Food Security Index which places Nigeria 96th out of 113 countries examined.
This focus area covers human rights, public accountability, anti-corruption, electoral reform and resource efficiency. It serves as a credible international hub for the resourcing of information on anti-corruption issue
This area serves to support resource rich communities and states to adopt the global natural resources governance framework for managing natural resources in an inclusive, sustainable and prosperous manner.
